"Island of Ischia 2011" Lifesaving Cup (Italy)

Dear friends, we’re very happy to inform you that from the next 13^th of May 2010

to the 15^th of May 2011 will take place the international sports trophy of oceanic

Competition 2011, here on the our wonderful Island.

The AURAS society is very glad to invites 2 athletes and one team manager

at the Ischia Island Trophy.

Your stay and your participation to the competitions will be free. (Not for Italian Clubs)

Program Guidelines:

Friday 13^th of May 2011 Arrival in Ischia- hotel accommodation and lunch – In

The afternoon excursion around the island by boat- dinner in hotel – free

Evening.

Saturday 14^th of May after Breakfast, transfer from the hotel to the competition

Field – lunch packet- dinner in hotel.

Sunday 15^th of May 2011 breakfast in hotel and transfer to the competition field-

Lunch packet – in the afternoon admission free to the famous Negombo Gardens-

Dinner in hotel-

Monday 16^th after breakfast departure.

The flight ticket and the hydrofoil ticket aren’t included –

We are happy to inform you that a lot of Italian societies and almost 6 foreign

Delegations will be present.

We are sure that our Ischia Island Trophy 2011 will give our and your athletes,

The possibility to share a wonderful moment in a fantastic place like San Montano

Bay.

Vela, Canoe e Tavola

Sabato pomeriggio alle 15.00, presso le piattaforme balneari di Casamicciola, ci si incontrerà per uscire con le barche a vela, con le canoe e con le tavole.

I due Aurassini Filippo Perrella e Fabio Fiorillo, entrambi finalisti ai campionati italiani assoluti, accompagnati dal d.t. Carlo Picconi, prenderanno parte ai campionati del mondo di nuoto per salvamento. I tre isolani arriveranno all'aereoporto del Cairo,in Egitto, la mattina presto del 13 ottobre e con un transfer si recheranno ad Alessandria, dove si effettueranno le gare sia a mare che in piscina. Nel primo giorno di gare presso Mamoura Beach, a nord-est di Alessandria,Perrella e Fiorillo prenderanno parte alla gara con tavola e alla staffetta salvataggio tavola, mentre nella seconda giornata, i due isolani dovranno concentrare le loro forze unicamente nella gara con la canoa, specialità in cui l’Auras è una delle società più forti in Italia, dopo gli ottimi risultati ottenuti nel corso dei recenti campionati italiani assoluti (bronzo di Perrella e sesto posto di Fiorillo). Invece il 16 sarà il giorno dell’Oceanman, la gara regina del salvamento, la più dura, la più completa; bisogna nuotare, andare in tavola, in canoa e correre sulla sabbia tra una frazione e l’altra, per un totale di 1500 metri. La gara può sembrare corta, ma non è così, infatti mette a dura prova la preparazione e gli allenamenti degli atleti.
